Most impressive Site, Private Eye was right.
Cheers & Good Luck! Graham Ricketts, Berlin.
Martin, I don’t have an email address for you but thought you would like to know the following. Many of us have thought for a long time that the Newham Re order just slavishly prints what Newham Council tell them to and today I received proof positive. They have just run a story about the sad death of a former councillor called Alan Taylor saying he was 73 and served in Burma during WW2. I quickly rang the reported, Sophie Morton, and pointed out he either didn’t serve or was 93. Her response was “oh er, that’s what the council told us”. The complete lack of journalistic competence and integrity is staggering. I had hoped for better things from the new editor.
Apologies for the typos
